Stan is Resident Playwright and Managing director of Epic Arts Repertory Theatre in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has received commissions from the Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York, Commonweal Theatre in Lanesboro, MN, Temple Beth El in Charlotte, NC and others. Stan is a recipient of an NCArts/ASC Regional Artists Grant and has won numerous local awards for his original works. His play "The Friar & The Nurse" was featured in the New York International Fringe Festival and was lauded by BackStage as "a joyous celebration of falling in love."(Gwen Orel) Stan is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc.
